PeaceVision® “Music With A Mission”

Concert Series

Harry Chapin was not only a Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter, but a dedicated humanitarian as well.   Throughout his career, Harry devoted much time and effort to combat hunger in the United States.

Harry was the co-founder of World Hunger Year in 1975.  More than half of Harry’s concerts were benefit performances, largely benefiting hunger-related charities.  After his untimely death in 1981, The Harry Chapin Foundation was formed to continue his legacy.

PeaceVision® has created the “Music With A Mission” Concert Series, bringing artists and nonprofits together to serve the greater good.  We are proud to announce that the Harry Chapin Food Bank is our primary charity for the Concert Series.
