We chase after money, activities, relationships, possessions, luxuries, fame, knowledge, substances – an infinite number of things outside ourselves – as we look for It. And each of these may satisfy us for a while. But then, the hole comes back. We feel a “lacking”, or a misery, or a fear, some sort of incompleteness that motivates us to get back out there and look for It again.
But, what exactly is the “It” that we’re looking for?
Is it possible that It may not reside out in the world of things and thought, but deep inside each of us waiting to be discovered?
